Art in the Twenty-First Century is a PBS documentary series now in its tenth year, providing fascinating insight into the world of contemporary art from different locations around the world. Ordinarily hidden from public view, the featured artists are some of the most compelling creative thinkers of our time.

 

The assignment for Season 10 involved creating an extensive graphics package to work across the one hour episodes, as well as crafting promotional material such as trailers, promos, and internal program teases. The nuts and bolts of the design system involved simple, strong typographic animation and a palette of animated color gradients to add movement and playfulness to the overall package.
