Dexter’s secret has finally been revealed and Deb his sister is being pulled into the darkness having witnessed him in the act of killing. As a nod to Dexter's world of perpetual bad behavior and mischief, live action was shot to create a library of sinister looking backdrops that could be used throughout the Season 7 promos. Glimpses of dark, abstracted materials and liquids were used as a way to evoke the tension and menace that was required for the upcoming episodes and emphasize Dexter’s world of blackness.
