The Trials of Spring is a documentary that chronicles the story of 24-year-old Hend Nafea who is arrested and tortured for demonstrating peacefully in Cairo's Tahrir Square during the Arab Spring and the ensuing uprisings in Egypt. This exerpt from the film depicts some of the power struggles that took place during that time and the human rights atrocities synonymous with the revolution that took place.
