This open for the documentary ‘Madam and the Dying Swan‘ uses the musical score from the acclaimed dance to draw the viewer in as it builds and reveals a beautiful and abstracted journey of the piece. As the sequence plays out, carefully selected crops and reveals of the musical notes were used as a textural canvas on which the credits could sit. 

The film itself documents the origins of the Dying Swan in 1905 and follows how the iconic dance has been preserved and passed on over the years.
