This opener for the award winning documentary “Trashed” was created as a nod to the film’s premise concerning humanity's waste, primarily plastic. It has become the ubiquitous material that is literally everywhere in our day to day lives and a huge problem to deal with in the environment. The film features acclaimed actor Jeremy Irons as the protagonist who embarks on a journey of discovery, disbelief and hope as he explores how waste, much of being plastic, has affected both the planet and life that lives on it.

Trashed was nominated for the Palme d'Or during it's open at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
